Will Asuma from the Naruto anime die, in which episode, and why? The writers concealed their intention to “kill” the character until the last moment. A legendary ninjutsu, Zenin himself mastered many techniques. And then began to pass on the knowledge to his students. The master often uses tekko, using a variety of attack techniques. There is no justification for his death in the series.
Asuma dies in episode 80 of Shippuden, which is chapter 328 of the manga.

What Episode Does Asuma Fight Hidan?
Sarutobi Asuma was fatally wounded in episode 79 during a battle with Hidan. Other players in the battle included Shikamaru Nara, Kotetsu Hagane, Izumo Kamizuki, and Kakuzu. The battle lasted from episodes 77 to 79 (manga chapters 322 to 327). Asuma’s squad attacked a pair of Akatsuki members, Hidan and Kakuzu. Hidan asked Kakuza not to interfere. Asuma decided to attack Hidan first, thus allowing Shikamaru to capture the immortal when he was distracted, using the Shadow Imitation technique, and then blow his head off.
Soon, Hidan managed to snag Asuma. Asuma used the Asuka Ash Cloud of the Element of Fire, he managed to burn his opponent, but for some unknown reason, he took some serious damage himself. Hidan somehow created a connection between their bodies. Shikamaru used Shadow Hold to limit his movements. He figured out how to get around Hidan’s technique, and forced him out of the circle he had drawn before the fight. As it turned out, all Hidan had to do was use his scythe to get some of his opponent’s blood, drink it, and thus bind their bodies, but the technique only worked inside the circle.
Asuma cut off Hidan’s head, but he was still alive. Kakuzu attacked the squad and wounded Asuma. He then sewed Hidan’s head to his body and he recovered. During the final battle with Hidan, Asuma avoided his attack, and Hidan’s scythe slammed into his stomach, but it turned out that he tricked Asuma into being in his circle again. Asuma took a tremendous amount of damage. Hidan plunged his blade into his chest, inflicting a mortal wound on Asuma.
