Since Zaku’s hands are still damaged after his encounter with Sasuke, Shino suggests that he surrender or his limbs will suffer even more. Not wanting to feel sorry for himself, Zaku uses his only healthy hand to apply his jutsu. However, the arm turns out to be filled with bugs.
Meanwhile, Kakashi seals Sasuke’s cursed seal. Orochimaru approaches him, informing him of the futility of Kakashi’s attempts, as the boy’s Sharingan will become Orochimaru’s property sooner or later anyway. Kakashi asks him about Team Dosu, but he has already lost interest in them.
Zaku realizes that he is surrounded by Shino bugs. He tries to use his damaged arm, which leads to an explosion in the tubes inside his arms due to the bugs that have invaded them. Shino emerges victorious.
