Vol.49 Chapter 457 – The Five Kage Summit, Commences…!!

On his way to the Kage Gathering, Danzo receives an update from Sai. In the Village of the Hidden Leaf, Sai reflects on Naruto and Sakura’s relationship and how Naruto’s promise to Sasuke continues to weigh on him. In the Land of Iron, Naruto meets the Fourth Raikage. Even though Naruto is forbidden from approaching the Kage Gathering, he asks the Raikage to forgive Sasuke for his crimes. Raikage refuses and points out to Naruto that his actions are unbecoming of a shinobi, as the Gathering is about to enshrine Sasuke as a criminal. Raikage leaves Naruto and continues on his way to the Kage Assembly, unaware that Sasuke and the rest of the Taki are watching Kage’s arrival.
