Naraki’s path captures Konohamaru. He asks where Naruto is, but Konohamaru refuses to answer and instead uses Payne’s interrogation distraction to hit him with the Rasengan that Naruto taught him. Meanwhile, Tsunade recognizes Deva’s Way as Yahiko. He tries to convince her that Naruto’s tutelage is only delaying universal peace. She does not inform him of Naruto’s whereabouts, but instead adds that Naruto does not need protection. Meanwhile, Inoichi and Shizune speculate that Paine’s consciousness owner controls the Six Paths of Paine from a remote location. Before they could go in search of the “puppeteer,” Shizune was captured by the Way Man. He read her mind and learned that Naruto was on Miyoboku Mountain.
