Vol.35 Chapter 319 – Driving Forces

As soon as Asuma and his team went to the Temple of Fire, they made a detour past the level of Kurenai’s apartment, who saw them. Meanwhile, Naruto and a small group of his shadow clones were not up to the task of cutting through the waterfall. Naruto says that he needs more shadow clones and therefore a bigger waterfall if he can advance, but Kakashi advises against it. Naruto insists that he needs to catch up to Sasuke, so Kakashi asks Yamato to expand the waterfall. Naruto trains all night, motivated by Sasuke’s progress, and eventually stops the waterfall with his Element of Wind.
