Jirobo activates the second level of his cursed seal to defeat Chouji. Chouji cannot move after taking two of the three colored pills and thus cannot prevent Jirobo from eating the last of his potato chips. Jirobo assures him that he shouldn’t feel bad, since Chouji is fat and will soon be joined by Shikamaru, his “worthless” group leader, in death. Chouji remembers his childhood and how all the kids his age looked down on him because of his weight. Only Shikamaru stood up for him, and in fact, he didn’t care, knowing that Chouji had more important qualities. They’ve been best friends ever since. Although using the last pill would undoubtedly lead to his death, Chouji does not hesitate to take the red Chili Pill (jap. トンガラシ丸, Tongarashi Maru). Lightly holding Jirobo, he informs him that he is a hundred times stronger than he was before. Chouji tells him that he can ignore being called fat or having food taken away from him. What he can’t forgive is that Shikamaru was insulted. He hits Jirobo, devastating the area.
