Vol.19 Chapter 165 – Naruto, Attack!!

Despite the arrival of help, Tsunade is eager to finish the battle alone. She pushes Jiraiya away and goes straight for Kabuto, but the latter, following his original plan, cuts his arm, sprinkling Tsunade with his blood. She goes into a stupor out of fear, so Kabuto hits her without meeting any resistance. Naruto is confused, as he considers Kabuto a friend since their last meeting. To which Kabuto informs her that he is a spy for the Village of Hidden Sound. He adds that Naruto is devoid of talent as a ninja and that he will never become like Sasuke Uchiha. He also threatens to kill Naruto if he tries to interfere. Kabuto’s words make the boy very angry and he rushes to attack, but is quickly defeated.

The battle is divided – Jiraiya takes on Orochimaru, Shizune will fight Kabuto, and Naruto will defend Tsunade and Tonton, as Orochimaru and Kabuto are too strong for him. With Kabuto’s help, Orochimaru summons twin snakes, and Jiraiya tries to summon a toad. But since he is still exposed to Tsunade’s poison, he only manages to summon Gamakichi.
