Gaara hides in his ball of sand and prepares to kill Sasuke as he tries to penetrate his defense. Realizing it’s not that easy to do, Sasuke retreats to prepare his attack. Naruto begs Kakashi to stop the match, but his sensei is adamant and tells him to see what happens next. Sasuke moves further away, climbing the wall of the arena, folding his seals and Chidori – Kakashi Hatake’s crowning technique – glows in his hand. Kakashi says he took up training Sasuke because he looks a lot like himself. Combining the power of Chidori and Lee’s imitation speed, Sasuke attacks Gaara and breaks through the sand shield, surprising all onlookers.
