Naruto notices that Sasuke is still missing. This also puzzles the Third Hokage, who is informed that Anbu hasn’t found him yet. At this time, the Fourth Kazekage appears to watch the final fights of the exam. The fight manager informs the participants of the reshuffle in the standings – now Shikamaru fights Temari at once, as the fight with Dosu has been cancelled. He also announces that if Sasuke Uchiha doesn’t show up before his match, he will be disqualified.
The first fight of the day begins, Naruto and Neji prepare. Meanwhile, Kiba and Hinata come to watch them fight. Kiba notices a member of Anbu among the audience, and thinks it’s suspicious. Naruto voices his vow to defeat Neji, made during the qualifying matches.
