Kakashi tries to figure out Kabuto and Orochimaru’s connection. Kabuto says nothing, so a fight ensues. Kakashi defeats Kabuto, at which time one of the Anbu members comes to his senses and jumps out the window. During the fall, he removes his mask, under which Kabuto appears. Meanwhile, the members of the Chuunin exam draw out the number papers. This is how the order of the fights was determined. The third Hokage explains that he, the Kazekage and Daimyo, and the other leaders will be evaluating the genii’s abilities, so everyone in the final stage can become a chuunin. Naruto goes in search of Kakashi to ask him to train him. However, Kakashi offers him another mentor, as he himself will be busy.
